Membership Eligibility
Who Can Join
PCT Federal Credit Union proudly serves the people and organizations that make up our vibrant local community. Over the years, we've formed strong ties with a number of groups and institutions — our historic partners — and we remain committed to serving their employees and members as part of the community we call home.
You are eligible to join PCT Federal Credit Union if you are:
A person who lives, works, worships, attends school, participates in programs to alleviate poverty or distress, or participates in associations headquartered in Plymouth County, Massachusetts — a single political jurisdiction
A business or legal entity, incorporated or unincorporated, that is located in or maintains a facility in Plymouth County, Massachusetts
A person who lives, works, worships, or attends school in, or a business or legal entity located in the Town of Wareham, Massachusetts, a community that meets the underserved definition of Section 109(c)(2) of the Federal Credit Union Act
An employee of PCT Federal Credit Union
As part of our continued service to our historic partners, we also welcome:
Employees of the School Department of the Town of Freetown
Employees of the Southeastern Regional Vocational High School who work in Easton, Massachusetts
Employees of the Board of Education of Bourne, Massachusetts who work in Bourne
Employees of the Town of Bourne who work in or are paid from Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts
Additionally, you are eligible for membership if you are:
A retiree, pensioner, or annuitant from one of the above groups
The unmarried spouse of a deceased member who was within our field of membership at the time of their passing
A member of an organization composed exclusively of individuals who qualify for membership
An immediate family member or household member of an eligible member, including spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling, or adoptive relationship

Since August 2022 when the credit union was granted a Low Income Designation (LID) from the NCUA, PCT Federal Credit Union has been able to enable our community to thrive through expanded services to low and moderate income families through.
PCTFCU is a federally-chartered credit union, organized under strict regulatory laws that are monitored and enforced by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the U.S. Government. All accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF).
