Overdraft Options

At PCT Federal Credit Union, we understand that unexpected events can arise, and we offer various overdraft protection programs to ensure you're covered.

Overdraft Transfers

• Automatic transfer of available funds from your savings account or alternate accounts within the credit union to cover overdrawn checking accounts 

• Minimal fee incurred for usage

• Transfers made through Online Banking are free

Courtesy Pay

At PCT Federal Credit Union, we understand that unexpected expenses can happen, which is why we offer Courtesy Pay as a service to our members. This service is available for personal checking accounts and is designed to provide you with peace of mind in case of an overdraft.

Here’s how it works:

• Once approved for Courtesy Pay, we will honor overdrafts of various transactions such as checks, ACH withdrawals, teller withdrawals, Bill Pay transactions, and service fees

• It's important to note that ATM withdrawals and debit card transactions will only be covered if you opt-in

• If an overdraft occurs, you will be covered up to a maximum limit of $500.00, including any applicable overdraft fees

Rest assured that we are here to support you during unexpected financial situations, and our Courtesy Pay service is just one way we do that.

Overdraft Line of Credit

At PCT Federal Credit Union, we understand that overdrafts can be a source of stress for our members. That's why we offer a line of credit that can be accessed when you need it the most. 

Here's how it works:

• If a transaction exceeds your available balance, our line of credit will be automatically accessed

• Money will then be transferred into your checking account to cover the overdraft and any related fees

Check Reorder

Ordering new checks has never been easier with our online check reordering service at PCT Federal Credit Union. 

Here’s what you will need to have ready:

• Routing number

• Account number

• Next starting check number
